Pastor and Mrs. Bailey

Raised in Amarillo, Texas, Pastor Bailey was saved in 1975 at the age of 19, and later attended the Pensacola Bible Institute, graduating in 1979.

He married his wife, Ginny D' Antonio, originally from Chicago, who was saved in 1973 and graduated from PBI in 1978. Upon graduation, they moved to Findlay, Ohio, where Brother Bailey pastored the Bible Baptist Church until their move to Cincinnati area in 1981. As an Associate under Pastor Jim Tarkington at the Immanuel Baptist Church of Dayton, Kentucky, they gained valuable ministry experience and forged friendships that would prepare them for their missionary task to come.

Called to Greece in 1986, they began deputation and found themselves in Athens, Greece with their three young sons during the Parliamentary elections October, 1988. The ensuing chaos introduced them to life in the Mediterranean society. In March, 1990, they started the Bible Baptist Church of Athens, Greece with fellow missionaries Larry and Judi Theofanopoulos. The congregation today is made up of an international mix of people with services in Greek as well as English.

The Baileys served in Greece until September, 2005, leaving the Athens church under the leadership of missionary Brent Lawson and associate Peter Tsirozidis. They attended their home church, Hope Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio, until being called to pastor Faith Baptist Church, here in Chehalis, Washington.

Associate Pastor and Mrs. Adamou

Born in California and raised on the island of Cyprus, Bro. Adamou and his family moved to Ohio in 1974. He joined the Navy in 1985 and was stationed at Naval Air Station, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Three years later, he was saved in December and the Lord moved him west to attend a Bible institute and help establish churches in the Pacific Northwest. He attended First Bible Baptist Church, where he met his future wife, Rachel Rowley.

Bro. Adamou served as Associate Pastor at Napavine Baptist Church before becoming the Associate Pastor here at Faith Baptist Church. He is in charge of the Sunday School, Children’s Ministries, and Youth Group.
