When I set out to record the verses that were directly inspired by Pastor Bill Bailey, I had no idea there were so many. These are a few of them. Comments were given, but to keep them brief, all I mention are what sort of source he used, and the date mentioned.
There are many more, so there will be future books of this nature. Timos
This book includes most of the Christmas and Easter verses I have been given over the last nearly 50 years. For too long they have been hidden in notebooks. Today, I do as I should have been doing for a long time. Enjoy them, they are yours, Timos
Every verse in this book has some connection with Faith Baptist Church, Chehalis, Washington. This connection may be a sermon, Bible study, or Sunday School lesson; however, it may be something written for a special purpose or person, also. Timos
Poetry by Times Three Stanza Verses
The three stanza/four lines poem is unique. It is the easiest to read, memorize, and generally enjoy; but it has been my observation, that it is the hardest to write, and do so properly. The poet has to be able to use the right words, with the right and most accurate meaning(s), without the poem being stilted and obscure. And, at the same time express clearly the idea he/she desires to present. The sound of the words must also be taken into account.
Many of these verses go back forty years or more, so they represent what I was writing when learning what works and doesn’t, how far to bend the rules of proper writing without breaking them, and to put themselves into the mind of the reader.
Enjoy these, they have been gathering dust for many years. Hopefully, they will do for you what they have done for me—they have encouraged me to live for Christ before the world, in ways you will never know. Timos
A ‘Miscellanea’ is simply a random gathering of objects or writings. That’s exactly what you will find in this collection of verse.
All I did was start at page one, of notebook number one. Most of these will be my earliest, so they may lack the polish of later writings.
I hope that you will enjoy these, and learn from them; as much as I have. Timos
Whether you wanted them or not, here are a few more verses God has given me over the years. There’s no central theme, so there’s something here for everyone.
This poem deals with things that are happening in this time of the Covid pandemic where churches are dealing with governors who want to take away our religious freedoms given to us by God and our Constitution.
